Why people join our team
Our work suits people who are hands on, careful with detail and comfortable working with industrial equipment. Fibre laser marking is exact work, so we need team members who can follow process, solve problems and keep standards high from first sample marking to final handover.
We work with metal parts, nameplates, tools and jewellery, and the work often involves site visits, setup support and training in client workshops. That means you may be working in Wadeville one day and on a factory floor in Jet Park, Isando or Alberton the next.
Roles we commonly hire for
Fibre laser roles we hire for most often:
- Technical sales and applications support
- Field service and machine installation
- Operator training and customer handover
- Software setup and process support
- Preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Workshop coordination and parts handling
If you have experience with industrial marking systems, precision equipment, or factory support, that is useful. Practicaly minded people with good judgement often settle in quickly.
What the job can involve
Our work is varied, and no two client sites are exactly the same. A single week may include machine setup, focus calibration, fixture adjustments, sample marking, and a call to help with software settings after a power interruption or load-shedding event.
- Installing equipment at client sites across Gauteng and further afield
- Setting up machines, accessories and marking parameters
- Training operators to work safely and consistently
- Checking output quality on steel, aluminium, brass and jewellery items
- Supporting service calls and follow-up visits where needed
Who fits in well here
We work best with people who are steady, respectful and willing to learn. Some clients need clear guidance, some need quick turnaround, and many need both. We also work across different environments, from small workshops to larger manufacturing plants, so adaptability matters.
You can learn the marking side of the role as you go. What matters is a good work ethic, neat communication, and the willingness to represent the business properly when visiting sites around Germiston, Boksburg, Kempton Park or further inland and coastal areas.
