Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of the Fibre Laser Marking website and any enquiry submitted through it. By accessing the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in line with these conditions.

Who Operates This Website

This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of Fibre Laser Marking, based in Wadeville, Germiston. The site is intended to provide general information about fibre laser marking and engraving machines, related services, and our support areas across South Africa.

References to “we”, “us”, and “our” in these terms mean Fibre Laser Marking and the operator where the context requires it. If you use the site to send an enquiry, request a quote, or ask for support, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

Permitted Use of the Site

You may browse the site for lawful business purposes only. You must not use the site in a way that damages, disables, overloads, or interferes with normal operation. Any attempt to gain unauthorised access to data, forms, or connected systems is prohibited.

  • Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Do not copy site content for resale or publish it as your own.
  • Do not use automated tools to scrape, probe, or extract content without written approval.
  • Do not introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful material.

Product And Service Information

We aim to keep product descriptions, service details, and support information current, including installation, training, calibration, maintenance, and repairs. However, content on the site is provided for general guidance and may change without notice. Equipment suitability depends on the material, part size, marking depth, and production environment.

Figures, specifications, lead times, and service availability may differ from one project to another. Coastal humidity, dust, power interruptions, and site conditions can all affect installation and performance. You should confirm final requirements during the quotation process before making any decision.

Quotations, Orders, And Site Visits

Any quotation issued after an enquiry is valid only for the period stated on the quotation, or if no period is stated, for a reasonable time. A quotation does not create a binding order until it is accepted in writing and any required deposit or purchase confirmation is received.

  • Site visits, sample marking, and training sessions are arranged subject to availability.
  • Travel, accommodation, and out of town install costs may apply for national work.
  • Customer access, power supply, compressed air, workholding, and safety preparation must be ready before attendance.
  • Delays caused by third parties, municipal restrictions, or site readiness may change delivery or install dates.

Intellectual Property And Content Rights

All text, photographs, layouts, graphics, and technical material on this site are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for internal business reference only. You may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, or publish any part of the site without prior written permission.

Any drawings, sample marking files, fixture concepts, process notes, or training material supplied in the course of business remain subject to the relevant ownership rights agreed in writing. Where customer supplied material is used for testing or sample marking, responsibility for ensuring lawful use remains with the customer.

Liability, Accuracy, And Governing Law

We take reasonable care to present accurate information, but we do not guarantee that the site will always be free from errors, interruptions, or omissions. To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, Fibre Laser Marking and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or business interruption arising from use of the site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be handled in the South African courts with jurisdiction over the matter.

  • Use of the site is at your own business judgement and risk.
  • You remain responsible for checking suitability before placing an order.
  • If any term is found invalid, the remaining terms still apply.
